Logical Reasoning
Logical reasoning is the systematic process of moving from premises to valid conclusions. In the UGC NET Paper 1 curriculum, this unit is exceptionally broad and detailed, synthesizing two historically profound schools of thought: classical Western logic (rooted in Aristotle) and classical Indian epistemology (specifically the Nyaya school) (Radhakrishnan, 1923; Copi et al., 2014).
